This article focuses mainly on invisible things. Or, at least, on things that are not immediately apparent at first glance. For sustainable urban development is not just a matter of solar panels, fuel cells and better insulation. It is above all a matter of a greater density of buildings, of concepts for transportation and supply, of ownership structures and political decision making.
